Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
I for one know that todays homes are filled with cables of all different kinds, you have computers, home theathers, HTPC, dvd players etc etc which fills up your rooms with cables. Alot of people also have one of more consoles in their rooms and they also bring alot of extra cables. There is a small solution though that will make it a little easier though and that is to get a wireless controller for your Xbox360 you get more freedom playing and you dont have that extra cable hanging around. Yes todays review will be about a wireless controller for the Xbox360 and we will compare it to one with a cord to see if they are any different.

You can actually get an idea how the controller feels already by holding the package, they have made a small plastic cover package for the controller so you can see and feel it in the store. Inside you will find a bunch of small manuals in different languages and two AA batteries as the controller runs on those.

Remove the battery cover on the back of the controller and mount the batteries. The batteries make the controller a bit more heavy that the corded one but I still have not found it annoying to play with it even longer periods. I tought the hands would get tired after awhile but that is not the case.
The controller looks a little like the original Xbox controller, why change a winning concept? The controllers and buttons are very nice to play with under long periods of time. Alot of controllers tend to make the fingers a bit tired but this is not the case with this one.

There are also four buttons on the top of the controller making it very powerful for gaming as you have everything in the reach of your hand. You also have a built in headset port so you can plugin your headset to the controller which is a very smart move. This way you dont have to have several feet of cable from the conosole itself. I have tried the reach of the controller and Microsoft claims it will reach about 30 feet, I cannot say that it will reach 30 feet since I live in a apartment and 30 feet is two brick walls away, but anyways I had no problems playing with it over 10 meters away from the console itself and there were no connectivity problems. Battery time is somewhere around 40 hours as Microsoft says it has, I guess it depends on what type of games you play and how many times you connect the controller at bootup.
Conclusion:
Something I have not mentioned yet is that there are rechargable battery packs you can buy which will in the long run save you some money.
Overall I have liked this controller, the weight has not bothered me barely at all and it has been a blast to kick my brothers butt in different games. Its a very comfortable and user friendly controller they have come up with, I guess they have listened to customers on what was missing on the older controllers. You can get this for around 43$ as you can see on the top of the review and that is not that bad of a price to be honest, just have a look at what a PC joystick cost these days. Im very satisfied with this and I can sure recommend this product for anyone.
