Kameo (Xbox 360)

With Xbox360 getting more and more established in todays homes, they have been releasing more accessories and games to go with it. One game that has been there from the beginning is Kameo that is actually developed by Micrsoft. We are going to take a small test run of this game and see what we think about it during todays review.

This story is as many fantasy games are with evil trolls and their leaders. You play the character of Kameo while you fight your way through different levels to finally meet the troll boss in the end and defeat him. In the game you will meet characters such as Kalus, The mystic, Ortho and many many more that will aid you further in the game. These first few shots are taken from the games intro, the graphics already look quite awesome for a Xbox360 and you won't be dissapointed later in the game.

Before starting the game you get to choose if you want to play solo or co-op. With the co-op option you will play on split screens, and you work together to defeat quests. When you actually get into the game and also while you game at first you get these boards that gives you tips and instructions on how to play the game. As you choose a different type of warrior Kameo you get different types of skills and these tooltips are awesome at first as they instruct you how to do different moves and actions.

Here we got a few different warriors that you can turn out to be, on the left we have the Major run that has alot of armor and can for example roll up ramps. The right one is Pummel Weed that is a boxer, very easy to play but also very effective to use for hittings trolls.

Gameplay:

This game is very easy to get into and it suits for both kids and adults, the game has a bit of variety and it's quite fun for awhile even though I'm starting to feel to old for these type of games. The story is kind of cool and you will without any major problems learn the controls even though there is quite a bit of them. The manual also describes what the buttons do. You will also be able to collect different items to aid you in your game.

Conclusion:

The price of this game has gotten a bit lower since it was first released, you can get it for around 28$ USD as you can see above. I think that 28$USD is a reasonable price for games but unfortunately most manufacturers have quite a bit higher prices. Kameo is a cool little game, not my type but as far as I have seen there is alot of others that like it, and I don't mind playing it either to spend a few hours of the day. I would like to recommend it though if you are into fantasy or role playing of anykind.

+ Easy to learn

Cons:

- Can feel a bit childish to the adults
