Wii DecalGirl Skins Review

Wii is one of the bigggest consoles these days and I have to admit that I find it quite fun to play Wii so far. The only problem with the Wii is that there are not different colors to choose from. Nintendo has decided to keep the Wii white while alot of people would have wanted different colors. This is where Decalgirl comes into play, they offer a sticker type of skin and this far we have had the chance to review both an Xbox skin and a Ps2 skin. Tonight we will look into a Wii skin from Decalgirl.

The skin comes in two different sheets of sticker. These stickers are extremely easy to remove if you want to change skin or just remove them. The only part that is hard to install is the front with all its buttons and covers.

Since I was not familiar with this material and the glue on it I took one of the easy sides first. So basically you can put it on any way you want but I took the sides first as then I also see where to excatly put the front, since the sides and the front meet up. The skin is very durable so even if you mount it wrong you can easily remove it and adjust it. The finish is glossy and very nice looking.

Of course there are loads of different skins on Decalgirls website but I liked the retro look. The old Nintendo look brings back some memories. Here we have the final picture of the whole skin mounted on the unit and I have not found anything "bad" with the skin this far. It has been able to take beating from my two year old son and I think that's the best durability test it can pass.



Conclusion:

If you are tired of the white covers of the Wii pay Decalgirl a visit. They have alot of skins for various consoles. Their skins are durable and easy to install and even remove. The price is about 15$ which most of us can afford and you don't need a manual to install the skins. The bottom line is don't hesitate to pimp your console.
